About Kerala Postal Circle

Kerala Postal & Telegraph Circle was established on 12 July 1961. The formation of a Separate circle takes place in 1961 for the state of Kerala, the development of Post and telegraph service become more popular. From 25th February 1965, the circle was upgraded into a major circle and placed under the charge of Postmaster General.

Educational Qualifications

  • For Postman – Matriculation from a recognized board or University
  • For Mail Guard: Matriculation or Equivalent from a recognized board or University

Age Limit

Aspirants age required for the Kerala Postal circle is between 18 Years to 27 Years and age relaxation will be given as per the norms.

Selection Process

The applicants shall be subjected to an Aptitude Test (Multiple Choice Questions) covering the following, subjects /topics. Aptitude Test will comprise four parts ( Part A, B, C(i) & C(ii) )and the total marks will be 100. There is no negative mark.

Aspirants who registered should pay non refund able amount through system generated challan only, within three days from the last date of submission of application.
  • General and OBC categories : Rs. 400/- (Examination Fee) + Rs.100/-
  • SC/ ST/ PH and Women candidates – Rs.100/- (Application Fee)

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online latest by 14 February 2017.

Note:
  • Candidates need to upload passport size photo and scanned copy of signature for completing online application
  • Candidates can apply for any one department either Post Man in Postal Department or Mail Guard in RMS.
  • The applications fees will be Rs.100 for all categories.Examination Fees will be Rs 400(SC/ST/PWD Candidates are exempted from application Fees)
  • After Completing application candidates need to pay application through E-Payment at any Kerala Post Offices.
